Luke Opens the Door Himself/Apre la Porta da Solo!

While Mommy was away, Luke decided to really develop his independence and figured out how to open the door alone!

Next thing we know, he'll be filling out college applications!

First Haircut in Italy

Luke got his first haircut in Italy at a darling little shop around the corner

 We tried with the little horsey chair first but were not able to get underway until Nonno distracted him with some stimulating reading.

Luke turns 11 Mos Old

Today the little guy turns 11 months old...

we can't believe that there is only 1 more month until he is a full year old!

On his return to Italy, Luke dove right in to eating and talking (ok, babbling).  Turns out, they are even more fun to do together.
